Al Wallace
Al Wallace is a native Texan and a graduate of Texas Tech University. His career in broadcast
television news and sports spanned 5 different decades and 40 years. He spent 33 years as a
sports reporter and anchor at WDAF-TV, Kansas City’s oldest and most trusted television
station. He has covered 3 World Series, 3 MLB All-Star Games, 9 NCAA Final Fours, and
countless NFL, college and high school sporting events. Al and his wife Marlena live in Overland
Park, Kansas, and have two daughters, Chase and Chaney.
